The Roseate Ganges offers allurement for it’s guests, from adrenaline pumping hiking, trekking, river rafting, nature walks by the riverside, to a spiritual peregrination to pilgrimage spots, yoga, meditation, the renowned Arti by the river Ganges or an intinate afternoon with a book. Guests can also Sivananda Ashram, Rajaji National Wildlife Park and The Beatles Ashram. For an unforgettable experience, guests can walk down to the private white sand beach by the pristine waters of the Ganges which gently flows by the retreat. Besides being an idyllic setting for meditation, reflection, yoga and detox in Rishikesh, the beach is also perfect for winter afternoon picnic getaways.
Guests can also unwind by taking a dip in the retreat’s temperature controlled infinity swimming pool (30 degree Celsius).

River Rafting

Ganga Aarti
Every evening as dusk descends and the last rays of the sun are reflected on the pristine waters of the holy Ganges, hundreds of devotees gather reverently in prayer, songs, chants and rituals. Thousands of oil lamps are offered to the Ganges during this ceremony and can be seen floating on the calm waters. Time comes to a standstill as one unites with the universe in an encompassing spirit of undisturbed joy and reverence. The unique experience of watching the sun set and skies swathed in shades of crimson gradually turning purple brings serenity and tranquillity, within and without.

Rajaji National Park
Rajaji National Park is known for its pristine scenic beauty, rich bio-diversity and as a paradise for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts. In the year 1983, three sanctuaries were amalgamated together to form a large protected area and named Rajaji National Park after the famous freedom fighter Late Sri C. Rajgopalachari, popularly known as ‘Rajaji’. Currently the national park is spread over 820.42 sq.km. and possesses as many as 23 species of mammals and 315 species of birds. A visit to the Rajaji National Park is one of the most cherished experiences in Rishikesh.

Beatles Ashram
Rishikesh is renowned as the yoga capital of the world. It is also a destination, most revered to be a place for meditation and spiritual peregrination. In 1968 members of the legendary rock band ‘The Beatles’ visited Maharishi Mahesh Yogi to learn transcendental meditation. The ashram they stayed in has hitherto been named the Beatles Ashram.

Organic Farm
An experience for all 5 senses, a visit to the organic farms is surely one to remember. The kitchens of The Roseate Ganges source seasonal, fresh, green produce from these farms. This is an opportunity for guests to experience the farm to table philosophy underlying the fresh, delectable cuisine at the retreat. Guests can also experience the acupressure pathway on which they can walk bare feet, enjoying the smell and taste of a wide variety of plants and fruits.

Sivananda Ashram
The Sivananda Ashram is a religious centre that is maintained and administered by the Divine Life Society, Rishikesh. It hosts profound discourses on yoga & meditation and also hosts various cultural, spiritual conferences and training sessions. The form of yoga taught at the ashram is Hatha Yoga. It emphasizes on proper breathing (Pranayama), exercise (Asanas), relaxation (Savasana), diet (vegetarian), positive thinking and meditation (Vedanta & Dhyana). The ashram is a peaceful retreat for people who want to indulge in mindful soul-searching away from the usual clutter and demands of modern life.

Kunjapuri Trek
Experience a 16 km trek from Kunjapuri temple till Rishikesh. Enjoy the scenic view of mountains, walk through villages, farms and more. At the end of the trek unwind by the Neer Gaddu Waterfall. The breathtaking sunrise and sunset from Kunjapuri temple is an experience not to be missed as the temple is located at a height of 1645 mtrs and has a panoramic view of the Himalayan peaks and the town of Rishikesh.
Sirasu Trek
