Check in and Check out:
Our standard check-in time is 03:00 p.m. and check-out time is 11:00 a.m. In case you wish to request an early check-in or a late check-out, kindly contact our front desk. This service is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Guests must be 18 years and above to check in at the hotel | Children under the age of 12 years, (accompanied by an adult guest) stay free of charge | Guests between the age of 13-16 years (accompanied by an adult guest) will be charged an additional £35 per night | Accompanying guests above the age of 16 years will need to book an additional room.
ETA policy:
In line with the new border regulations of the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) office, Effective April 1st, 2025, visitors travelling to UK will need to apply for an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation), which gives you permission to enter and stay in the United Kingdom.

Storage of Luggage:
For your convenience, a luggage storage facility is available for early arrivals and late departures.
Rollaway Beds:
Rollaway beds are available at an additional tariff of £20.00 per night. Guests are requested to please place a request at the front office well in advance.
Extra Bed Policy:
1 extra bed (only) per room can be offered for accompanying children (up to 17 years old) at a charge of £20.00 per bed, per night | 2 extra beds can be accommodated in the Roseate Executive Suite in the Roseate Building and The House Studio in the House Building
Airport Shuttle:
On our website, we have shared information pertaining to the most convenient public transport options available. However, should you wish to book a private car for airport transfers, our front office team will be delighted to assist you.
Parking Fee:
Our hotel has limited parking space and hence parking slots are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis at a nominal fee: Up to 4 hours: £6.00 per car / 4–12 hours: £12.00 per car / 12–24 hours: £20.00 per car.
The best postcode to use for the car park is RG1 3BE. Alternatively, the nearby Queens Road Car Park can be found at the postcode RG1 4AR.
Modes of Payment:
At The Roseate Reading, we accept Visa, Master Card and American Express for all reservations. To confirm a reservation, we require your credit or debit card details. Please note that a refundable security deposit of £50.00 per night is mandatory.
Damage and Liability:
Guests are liable for any damage caused to the rooms or public areas during their stay.
Inappropriate Behaviour:
We kindly request that all guests always treat our team members with due courtesy and respect. Any form of harassment, abusive language, aggressive behaviour, or misconduct towards our staff will not be tolerated and may result in legal action.

Cancellation Policy:
Our cancellation policy requires guests to cancel their reservation at least 48 hours’ prior (from the date of arrival), before 03:00 pm (UK time) to avoid any cancellation charges. For any queries, we encourage guests to contact us directly for assistance.

Courtesy Towards Other Guests:
In order to ensure a comfortable, bespoke experience for our guests round the clock, we request you to kindly refrain from making any disturbing noise, especially between 10:00 pm- 8:00 a.m.
Lost or stolen personal items:
We are committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment within our hotel. If you lose an item or experience theft, please report it to our front desk immediately. While we will do our best to assist you, please note that the hotel and its staff are not liable for any personal belongings that are lost or stolen.
Smoking Policy:
The Roseate Reading is a non-smoking hotel. It has designated smoking areas, and our staff will advise you of their location upon request.
Fire Safety:
In the unexpected event of a fire, kindly follow the guidance of our trained team members and read the instructions posted on the walls near the staircases. Your safety is our top priority.
Pet Policy:
We are a dog friendly hotel and welcome your four-legged friends, however, we kindly ask guests to inform us in advance if they are bringing a pet so we can make the necessary arrangements. There will be an additional room charge of £20 per stay, and we offer dog beds and bowls upon request.
